Student Placements for 2006
Anne-Marie Rose, a tutor on the proposed Certificate in Community
Studies will discuss students' needs for practical
experience, Anne-Marie has been co-ordinating and
supervising students on the old certificate who have been working
as volunteers. The new certificate will require the students
to do 300 hours of voluntary work rather than 170 as they do
now. The voluntary work will be arranged as 'placements' and
will be set up and closely monitored by a CPIT staff person.
Students will be expected to do one full day per week from the
second term, building up to two days a week from the third
