If you have questions about legal matters help is available on the Keeping it Legal website.  Other useful information can be found on the Not-for-profit section of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants' website. 

The Library in our office holds many interesting books and a full set of the "Australian Journal on Volunteering".  Anyone may browse between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm on weekdays, and members of Volunteering Canterbury may borrow books.

If you are a Co-ordinator of Volunteers you are very welcome to attend the free monthly meetings of the Volunteer Co-ordinators' Network.  These are held from 12.30 p.m. to 2.00 p.m.  Co-ordinators bring their own lunch and tea and coffee are provided.  The first half hour is social, with a focussed discussion from 1.00 p.m. Dates, topics, and venues can be found on our Events page.
